eBay Auction Types
Over the years, eBay has introduced all sorts of different auction types, in an effort to give people more options when they buy and sell their things on eBay.
For every seller who doesn’t like the idea that their item might sell for a far lower price than they intend, there’s another who wants to shift hundreds of the same item quickly. eBay tries to cater to all tastes. This post gives you an overview of the different kinds of auctions and their advantages for you.
Normal Auctions.
A normal eBay auction is the most common type of auction. This is where an item is listed for a fixed period of time and buyers are invited to bid for it until the auction has ended. The winner of an eBay auction is the highest bidder when the bidding has closed. These are the bread-and-butter of eBay, the auctions everyone knows: buyers bid, others outbid them, they bid again, and the winner gets the item. Simple.
Reserve Auctions.
Reserve auctions are for sellers who don’t want their items to sell for less than a certain price – a concept you’ll know about if you’re familiar with real auctions. The process is the same as that for a normal eBay auction but the item is not sold to the winning bidder unless his offer has exceeded the pre-set reserve price. Many sellers who have valuable items, such as cars or antiques, will use the reserve eBay auction to ensure that they receive a reasonable price for their item. If the reserve eBay auction ends without the reserve having been met then the seller retains the item.

Why can’t you succeed online?
Why can’t you succeed? I know the answer. If you want to succeed online, you have to do something. Doing something and failing is a lot better than doing nothing. If you make a mistake you will be able to learn and improve on your efforts. If you do nothing you will never have the benefit of hindsight and will not be able to improve on anything and you will always be at the starting point. People are scared to make mistakes but making a mistake is not failing - it’s the start to success!
I admit, I don’t know everything about ebusiness. But I am sharing with you some tips I’ve picked up on my e-way. In my eBay posts you can find a proven technique that have not only worked for me but for most successful eBay powersellers as well.
Well I hope you can use these posts to jump start your eBusiness. Remember No Matter what you do, DO SOMETHING. Because learning from your mistakes is so much better than sitting on the side lines reading about everyone else succeeding online.
In addition I’d like you to know “Failures are nothing but temporary defeat, you only really fail when you give up.” – Napoleon Hill.
REMEMBER “DO SOMETHING – TAKE ACTION TODAY!”
This post is a call to action. It doesn’t mean the eBay post series are finished – this is the end of one, most simple and successfull eBay strategy. I’ll continue posts on eBay topic, so be tuned on.

Working eBay Business Model (Part – 7)
In this post we are going to talk about importance of Re-Listing & Re-building. You have to get your listing right first time around, it is in your primary interest. Because the more often you re-list it without changing the higher it will rank on eBay’s “Best Match” algorithm system.
The “Best Match” system is eBays default search setting on their live auctions. It is the system that orders what page and what position your listing will appear when a customer searches. To inusre that you stay on top there are a few things you can do.
First of all the system favours eBay sellers that offer worldwide postage, some sort of money back returns policy, and a 30day listing period. So when you are actually writing your listing be sure that you include these elements.
Another important factor for ranking high, is your “Recent Sales History”. Every time your item sell it is record in a recent sales history. When your listing comes to an end and you have sold a load of products you will want to immediately re-list the item. However be aware that if you change any of the elements of this listing you will wipe your “Recent Sales History” so try not to touch it if you can.
The next and final step of this entire system is just to literally go back to the beginning and re-build the system all over again with a new product. To make some serious money on eBay you can just settle for selling one product you need several sets of income streams to make this business work. That is the secret to this business, re-build the system as many times as you can while constantly re-listing your items and I guarantee you will reap the benefits.
All the above steps are EXACTLY the ones most eBay Powersellers use to continually make thousands each month working just 2-3 hours a day. If you follow everything that I’ve detailed in these blog posts I assure you that you can do the same.

Working eBay Business Model (Part-6)
In this part we are going to speak about your eBay sales page.
Now, while you’re waiting for the shipping the best thing to do is to write your eBay listing. When writing you eBay sales page, there are 4 main parts you need to get right. The first 2 parts are focused on getting potiential customers to “click” this means get them out of the list of products to your sales page. Parts 3 & 4 focus on turning these potiential customers into sales…
Part 1. The Picture
Although some PowerSellers may disagree, but the most important part of your eBay listing is going to be the picture (not the title). Just have a little think to yourself when you’re next browsing through the eBay pages, what are you looking at first? I’m sure it’s the picture…. For this reason it’s crucial that you get it right… If your picture is of a poor quality then no one is going to even get to read your sales page.
Part 2. The Title
Although I said that it’s not the MOST important tool in your listing, a great title is one of the key elements to getting people to click on your listing. When writing a title, try to sound inviting while using as many “keywords” as possible… (keywords are the phrases that relate directly to what people type in the eBay search bar)….

For those who may be thinking this isn’t for you because you don’t want to risk any money buying stock, DON’T WORRY. There is another way and it is called “Informational Products”, they come in a few different formats: CDs, DVDs, eBooks, PaperBooks, Software, etc. These products nearly always have huge profit margins and getting hold of them to sell on is either free or at minimal cost to you.
They are listed on eBay in the same format as everything else and can usually be found in the “Everything Else” category. I found a good video related to informational products and my eBay Business Model which I am sure you will find useful. Please watch it below
So, where can we get some of these great infoproducts?
Well, one way is to go to ebay.co.uk (or.com) and type in either “Resale Rights” or “Resell Rights”. eBay will then list hundreds of informational products you can buy which instantly give you the full resell rights, this means the author grants you full permission to sell the product on and keep 100% of the profits.
Alternatively you can visit this webpage where you will find a huge collection of informational products which I’m giving away to you absolutely FREE. All you need to do is write a sales page for them. Find out more on how to do this in the next post…
Working eBay Business Model (Part-4)
The best and cheapest way to source products is to “Import” from overseas manufactures. The easiest and safest way to do that is to use a “wholesale website”. These wholesale websites put you in touch with the manufacturers of the products you’re looking for, and then manage the buying process for you, taking a small percentage from the sale.
There are many overseas wholesale sites on the internet, but let’s use one of these:
www.alibaba.com
www.dhgate.com
When looking to source products using my “model”, go to either of the above websites, register your details and you’ll almost certainly find what you are looking for. You do should however always do your research when using the sites above if you are looking to do business with anyone, contact the website support network and simply ask them if they can confirm that the seller is genuine.

When finding new leads on eBay we are basically finding a product that many eBay customers are looking for and spending money on. By doing this we are going to insure that we target as many potential customers as possible.
I’m going to use screenshots from eBay and go through the process of starting a new “Sale” and the system for finding LEADS. Firstly I’m going to visit ebay website and pick a category. There is no right or wrong answer here, it’s just a matter of trial and error. So, I’m going to choose the “Vehicle Parts & Accessories” category….. See image below:

Working eBay Business Model (Part-2)
The week 5 of coaching is really loaded and practically I hardly found a couple of minutes to write this post. So, let’s get to part 2 of the eBay Business Model. The core of this model consists of 6 crucial steps that will be shown throughout the post series.
Step 1– Finding Leads
In this step we have to find out what products are selling really well on eBay and in which categories. This will give us a great idea towards the type of product that we will be selling
Step2 – Finding Products
Now that we have stumbled across a perfect lead, we need to be more specific and pick a particular product that we are going to sell. In this step we focus a bit more on sales volume and how much we could potentially make profit from this product.
Step3–Product Sourcing
You will be surprised at how simply sourcing bulk products is and you’ll be amazed at the deals that can be done. Also don’t be put off if you don’t have a big budget to spend on stock for your business, there are ways of starting out with little or no capital and I will be showing this later on….
Step4 – Writing your Listing
In this step you’ll have to analyze the most popular listings. Try to see from inside what the seller is telling, where is the strength and weakness of the listing and do your best to find the answer -why it works. The only thing between you and your customers is your eBay sales page. So in this section we’ll speak about getting it right.
Step5 – Relisting & Rebuilding
Surprisingly the key to building a consistent and sustainable eBay business is relisting your sold items and continually starting new the whole system again.
Step6 – Conclusion
TAKE ACTION, TAKE ACTION, TAKE ACTION
Next post we’re ready to go through each individual step in depth. To keep it short, bye
